We collect personal information about you including: your name, address, where you are moving to and move date. This information is collected via quote request forms, sign ups move planner registrations or surveys.
When requesting a quote from your existing mortgage provider or setting up utility accounts with Eon or British Gas, we require date of birth to help us identify you. This information is not shared with any other company or provider.
For the transfer and set up of utility accounts, we require a previous address if you have lived at your current address for less than 3 years. This data is only used by the utility company you select and is not shared with any other company.
We occasionally send out surveys to find out what our users think about various moving issues. When survey entrants are entered into a prize draw, we reserve the right to disclose the name of the winner to anyone requesting this information. The data gathered and survey entrants will remain anonymous unless otherwise stated.
How we use your information
We use information collected to find relevant services for your move and to create a personalised move planner. In some cases, when a quote is requested, your details are supplied to the companies directly enabling them to contact you with a detailed quote. We will confirm online and via email which companies will contact you. These companies are permitted to use your data once for the sole purpose of providing you with a quote and may not contact you thereafter without your permission.

We use your email address to send you move-reminders as well as information and services which may be relevant to your move. You can select which emails you receive or opt out altogether. Simply go to your account control panel to update your email preferences. Please note that we do not opt you out of receiving confirmation emails to allow us to confirm your quote requests.
